This tour travels the length of the Sacred Valley, stopping in the key sites of interest of Pisac, Urubamba, Ollantaytambo and Chinchero. In Pisac you have a choice of visiting either the colorful traditional market or the Incan ruins – your preference must be specified on booking the tour. Our next stop is for lunch in Urubamba, after which we continue our journey to Ollantaytambo. Book Now This small town is filled with well preserved Incan architecture, boasting the last Incan complex to be built– in fact they never finished this fortress! En route back to Cusco we will visit the typical market and archeological site at Chinchero.
Our staff will begin this tour by picking you up from your hotel in Cusco at 08:15 hrs. From here, we will board our private transportation that will take us to all of our destinations for the day. On our way to Pisac, and about 30 minutes from Cusco, we will make our first stop at the market of Pisac - Qorao. Here, all locals display their crafts, so that you can appreciate their art and take some beautiful handmade souvenirs for you and your loved ones. Here at this stop, you will also have the opportunity to take photographs of the beautiful landscapes amongst the mountains and of native animals like llamas. Afterwards, we will continue by heading to el Mirador Del Valle Sagrado. This lookout of the valley will give you a perfect opportunity to photograph the Andes mountain rage and the Sacred Valley all together. We will then head to Pisac to visit its main market and archaeological site. Once finished, we will head to Urubamba where we will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch. In the afternoon, we will head to the town of Ollantaytambo to visit its main archaeological site, and learn a little bit about the historic value that can be found all over the site´s stone walls. On our way back to Cusco, we will make a final stop at the town of Chinchero. Here, we will get the opportunity to visit a beautiful colonial temple known for its mural painting above the entrance way (this temple was built on top of Inca foundations). We will also have the opportunity to see the Inca walls in the town´s plaza etc. Finally, we will return to Cusco and arrive at around 18:30 hrs.
